Comfy Carepacks: Comfort. Care. Compassion

Started in 2018 by a group of pet-loving volunteers, Comfy Carepacks (www.comfycarepacks.org) recognizes the strong bond between pet owners and their furry companions. The group wanted to do something meaningful to help unhoused pet owners, many of whom face unique challenges while trying to provide the necessary essentials to care for their pets.

Creating a Wag-worthy Difference

Comfy Carepacks aims to alleviate the challenges faced by pet owners dealing with housing and financial difficulties by providing free supplies and resources to support their pets. This is accomplished through distribution events at local parks, individual outreach efforts, and by providing pet packs to food pantries to give out to those in need.

A Pet-tacular Event

In an effort to highlight essential resources to the pet community, Comfy Carepacks is teaming up with local organizations to host Fur Fest: a celebration of pets and their people. This event will take place on Saturday, September 21st 2024 in North Hollywood, CA. The primary objective of Fur Fest is to highlight the various resources and services available to all pet owners, all while encouraging responsible pet care.
